Plant and watering problems in Tiny Eden

A watering tool that will not work is a different problem from a plant that will not grow. Start with the symptom you can actually see.

Watering can will not fill or water

Updates #3.1 and #4 announced watering-related fixes. First check whether Steam has a pending game update. These notes do not establish that every watering problem has been fixed in every later build.

1. Note the game version and whether the failure happens when filling or watering.

2. Check for a pending game update before repeating troubleshooting based on an older build.

3. If the failure persists, record the tool, target and exact behavior for a bug report. Do not assume a plant's slow growth proves that the watering tool is broken.

Plants stay hot indoors

Moving a plant indoors was not enough for the player in the cited discussion. A reply suggested checking the apartment radiator and looking for a Fan in the shop.

Check whether a nearby radiator is on.

If you try a Fan, check its on/off state rather than assuming placement alone is enough.

Observe the plant's displayed condition after a change. We do not have a tested temperature threshold, timing rule or guarantee for this method.

Tool works, but growth is slow

The Steam description identifies temperature, light and soil as plant conditions. Inspect the plant's displayed condition before changing several things at once. This guide does not supply a verified crop-by-crop settings table.
